Paraparaumu | Commercial Pool Liner Installation

The Pier apartment complex in Paraparaumu was experiencing issues with its existing fibreglass pool and needed a practical solution to restore the pool without replacing the entire structure. Taylors Pools and Spas installed a new T-Loc clipping system, protective panel pad and 0.75mm Aqualux vinyl liner, while upgrading the pool fittings and bottom drain. A new thermal pool cover completed the renovation, giving the complex a fresh, durable pool ready for continued use.

The Challenge

The Pier apartment complex in Paraparaumu was experiencing issues with its existing fibreglass swimming pool. With the pool surface no longer performing as required, the owners were looking for a reliable way to restore the pool without the cost and disruption of replacing the entire structure.

The challenge was to create a new, durable internal surface that would work with the existing fibreglass pool while also addressing the pool's existing fittings, including the returns, skimmers and bottom drain.

The Taylor-Made Solution

We transformed the existing fibreglass pool with a new T-Loc liner clipping system and a custom-made Aqualux vinyl liner. The entire pool was prepared with panel pad, providing a protective layer between the existing fibreglass and the new liner.

The existing pool fittings were carefully prepared and upgraded for the liner installation. This included fitting new jet faces and skimmer faceplates, resealing the bottom drain and installing the necessary dress ring to create a clean, watertight finish.

To complete the renovation, we supplied and installed a new thermal pool cover, providing an additional solution to help retain heat and improve the pool's ongoing efficiency.

The existing fibreglass pool was given a complete transformation without the need for a costly replacement. The new Aqualux liner created a fresh, durable finish while the T-Loc clipping system provided a professional and secure installation.

The updated fittings and new thermal pool cover completed the renovation, giving the apartment complex a pool that looked refreshed and was ready for continued use.
