Our Story

We are Chris and Carrie (and Owen!) Taylor, owners of Taylors Pools and Spas. Our business was originally started in 1990 and has been in Hawkes Bay for over 33 years.

Taylors Pools and Spas (back then Taylors Pool Service) was started in 1990 by Kym "The Poolman" Taylor and his wife Jenni Taylor. Kym began his pool & spa career in 1978 working at Para, and during this time built a strong knowledge and passion for the industry. From small beginnings working from home, Kym and Jenni built the business up until 2009, when their son Chris took over the reins. Since then, Carrie has joined the company, and together Chris & Carrie have developed the business into Hawkes Bay's leading pool and spa company.  We have a team of 14 staff with over 70 years of combined experience in the pool and spa industry. We are based in Napier and service as far north as Ohakune, Taupo and Gisborne, and as far south as Wellington. We've even ventured over Cook Strait for a job or two!

At Taylors, we provide quality pool and spa service, maintenance and solutions in both residential and commercial areas.
